I’m trying to add my blogline url for Thing 7, but it keeps giving me an error message. It says that I’m putting too much information for the alloted space. Help!
I just re-did mine and typed in http://www.bloglines.com/public/Susan_Fisher
I was fine with this url–is yours longer? If so by how much?
Maybe I was misunderstanding the URL I was supposed to put in there. I thought I was supposed to put in the URL for my post about technology, is this right?
Yes, the url for #7 is the blog link to your technology comments. Click on your post title and you will get the “permalink” to that post in the address box. In Week 4, you will be putting in your Bloglines url.
OK, so I’m attempting to add the URL http://daniebob.wordpress.com/2008/01/07/elluminate/ but I keep getting the following error message:
Microsoft JET Database Engine error ‘80040e21′
The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data.
/staff_day/23_Things_work_Sheet.asp, line 386
It’ll accept the URL without the http:// part so that’s what I put in there.
Augie has increased the number of spaces in this field. Please try again and see if it works now.
Yay! It worked! Thanks.
Please note, when originally setting up Learning 2.0, I switched two exercises– #11 with #19, but didn’t make the change on the Checklist. Thank you to Beth who caught it…We will put LibraryThing in Week 5 where it belongs as soon as possible.
I’m trying to add my blog to the “favorite blogs” section of Learning 2.0 Wiki Sandbox (http://plcmclearning.pbwiki.com/Favorite+Blogs). Whenever I click on “edit page” it asks for the invite code. I created an account but it still asks for the code.
Omar-The Password for this wiki is PLCMC
thanks!! I was trying the same code yesterday and it wouldn’t work…I just realized it has to be in lower case to work.
